BORN AND RAISED IN FREDERICKSBURG, VA. JAY JOHNSON CARES ABOUT HIS COMMUNITY AND IS DEDICATED TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE. With 20 years experience Jay has knowledge in the Real Estate and Mortgage Industry that will guide you to make the right decisions during your transaction. Jay is your consultant, negotiator and transaction coordinator. He takes pride in exceeding expectations and will walk with you through every step of your deal. Jay started his real estate career the summer before he graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2001. 

Jay has worked in financing and the real estate industry since that time buying, selling, financing and leasing real estate while helping his clients do the same. By obtaining a major in Sociology and a minor in Finance Jay understands the importance of communication and being able to relate to clients from all walks of life.

Jay serves his clients with expertise in Real Estate Acquisition, Sales, and Management. He maintains extensive service lines representing multiple phases of the real estate transaction, including private/hard money financing, commercial and venture capital brokering, residential rehabs and wholesaling. 

Jay started his real estate team in 2014 (Key Team Inc.) and since has transitioned to managing the Fredericksburg office. Jay is an advocate for education, community involvement, area youth and being an agent for God wherever he goes. Jay has a calm demeanor which makes him very approachable and with 20 years in the business his knowledge and hands on approach is an asset to anyone he works with.
